Christmas Jumper Day is Save the Children's biggest mass participation fundraising event.
In 2016 we decided to celebrate the idea that by doing something very silly, you were actually helping with a very serious issue. The idea was to make the people that take part the stars of the campaign – by featuring the photos of them in their over the top Christmas jumpers. These selfies were paired with meme-esque copy lines to create a social media aesthetic.
2016 campaign saw the £4 million barrier broken for the first time and was shortlisted for Third Sector's Best Fundraising Event.
